About the Role
The Wylie Inn and Conference Center is seeking Full-Time Banquet Servers to join their team of dedicated professionals. Employees are part of the Endicott College community and share in the beautiful campus offerings, including proximity to historic downtown Salem, scenic Cape Ann, restaurants, shopping, museums, and more.
The Wylie Inn and Conference Center offers well-appointed, comfortable accommodations with an on-site café restaurant and bar, a state-of-the-art IACC-certified conference center, and an elegant social event venue, Upper Manor. Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms as instructed by the Banquet Captain, including linen, service ware, and glassware.
- Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars, including guest and hotel expectations.
- Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Serve food and/or beverages in the order and to the expectation of the Banquet Captain to ensure consistency throughout the banquet.
- Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the function.
- Be an active participant in the life of the College by attending and supporting key events like Commencement, Homecoming, and other all-hands-on-deck gatherings.
- Show a spirit of collaboration and community involvement, including volunteering when possible.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 18 years old.
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, maneuvering trays of food and drink.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume event environment.
- Positive attitude.

Pay
The hourly pay range for this position is $18.00–$20.00 per hour. Endicott College considers factors such as job responsibilities, relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and external market data when determining pay. This range reflects base pay only and does not include benefits or other compensation.
Reporting Structure
Reports to the Food Director with direct supervision. No supervisory responsibilities.
