Banquet Server

Responsibilities

• Work in the banquet rooms to provide table service and hospitality to our guests.
• Take food and beverage orders and serve them accurately with all details and accompaniments.
• Professionally represent the hotel and property when interacting with guests from the community and industry organizations.
• Able to work shifts involving set up, cleanup, and tear down procedures.
• Learn and maintain proper Health Department standards and codes.
• Learn and maintain proper food, bar and wine menu knowledge.
• Communicate customer needs and resolve complaints independently.
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• One year prior food and beverage service experience is preferred.
• A proper uniform is required and must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Attendance is essential to the successful performance of this position.
• May be required to work varying schedules.
• Ability to read and write basic English.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. intermittently during workday.
• Over 21 is preferred but not necessary.
