Responsibilities
- Work in the banquet rooms to provide table service and hospitality to our guests.
- Take food and beverage orders and serve them accurately with all details and accompaniments.
- Professionally represent the hotel and property when interacting with guests from the community and industry organizations.
- Able to work shifts involving set up, cleanup, and tear down procedures.
- Learn and maintain proper Health Department standards and codes.
- Learn and maintain proper food, bar and wine menu knowledge.
- Communicate customer needs and resolve complaints independently.
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- One year prior food and beverage service experience is preferred.
- A proper uniform is required and must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
- Attendance is essential to the successful performance of this position.
- May be required to work varying schedules.
- Ability to read and write basic English.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. intermittently during workday.
- Over 21 is preferred but not necessary.
