Banquet Server

Responsible for

• Communicating with banquet team members and back of house personnel
• Serving three to four tables during banquet functions
• Stocking stations and completing pre and post job duties as outlined by the manager
• Interacting with guests in a friendly/fast manner
• Setting, clearing, and serving tables during banquet functions
• Observing guests during meal needs and responding to requests appropriately
• Treating all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction
• Always striving to exceed guests’ expectations
• Reporting to work in a neat and clean uniform
• Absolutely adhering to customer service standards

Essential Job Functions

• Support the Crowne Plaza hallmarks and standards
• Greet guests and answer questions regarding food and beverage
• Able to interact with guests in a friendly/fast manner
• Able to set, clear, and serve tables during banquet function
• Observe guests during meal needs and respond to requests appropriately
• Report to work in a neat and clean uniform
• Absolutely adhere to customer service standards
• Ensure hands are frequently washed

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk and hear
• Very active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching
• Occasional lifting of products weighing up to 25 pounds

Work Environment

• This job operates in our back of house which at times can be a loud setting
• This role may be exposed to hazards, including, but not limited to cuts, slips, falls, tripping, and burns

Education & Experience

Generally 0-2 years of experience required.

One must be a minimum of 20 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages to hotel guest per KY Liquor Law.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time non-exempt position with expectation to work necessary business hours to ensure business needs are met during the operation of the Banquets Department.
