Banquet Server

Banquet Servers are needed to work weddings, luncheons, dinners, and various social events at prestigious Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester, MI.

Schedule

• Primarily weekends and evenings
• Shifts are based on scheduled events
• Example shifts: 3pm–11pm, 5pm–12am, 5pm–1am, 10am–2pm, 8am–3pm

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Serve guests in a professional manner as directed by dining room manager, assistant manager, captains, etc.
• Ensure working areas remain clean
• Empty trash and spot-sweep floors as needed or when requested by a manager
• Restock and prepare supplies for shift change and/or close
• Perform opening/closing responsibilities, including party breakdown and sidework
• Assist in cleanliness and organization of all service storage areas
• Assist in event space setup
• Assist other team members as needed or when business needs dictate
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate

Requirements

• Must be punctual and ready to perform requested duties upon arrival
• Must arrive in uniform and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Required to be able to lift 25 lbs or more
• Experience is preferred; high level of experience in a related venue may earn a premium wage

Pay

Part-time hourly wage varies depending upon experience and can be discussed further during the interview process.
