About the role
The Banquet House Attendant is responsible for setting up, breaking down, and cleaning tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order. They also stock linen, china, silver, and glassware and supplies for service ensuring they are in good condition. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans.
Responsibilities
- Set up, break down, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order.
- Stock linen, china, silver, and glassware and supplies for service ensuring they are in good condition.
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans.
- Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel’s receiving area and store them safely and securely.
