Banquet House Attendant

About the role

The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is seeking a Banquet House Attendant who embodies a passion for excellence and enthusiasm in their work. This role involves shaping the guest experience by providing exceptional service and managing event spaces efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet and event spaces according to BEO specifications, including tables, linens, furniture, buffets, and specialty setups
• Stock, organize, and maintain linens, equipment, and service supplies, ensuring cleanliness, proper storage, and adequate inventory levels
• Cookout daily assignments and participate in BEO meetings to ensure clear execution of event requirements while maintaining event space standards
• Transport, set up, and store equipment and materials safely, including operating vehicles and maintaining tools, carts, and equipment
• Manage linen operations, including inventory tracking, timely delivery of soiled items, and maintaining par levels for upcoming events

Requirements

Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States. The hospitality business operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, and shifts may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends are required. A Hawaii Driver’s Abstract is required for this role. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 75 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts.

Qualifications

Experience in event management, customer service, and hospitality is preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with event planning software is beneficial.

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial. The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure is important. Knowledge of event setup and breakdown procedures is advantageous.
