Responsibilities

• Prepare food items for all dining room orders and events
• Follow local health and department standards, Suburban Inns Core Values, and brand standards
• Ensure guests are 100% satisfied
• Greet guests in a friendly, positive manner
• Anticipate and meet guest needs and expectations
• Set up and service items according to established portions and presentation standards
• Notify the Kitchen Manager of expected shortages
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work areas and equipment
• Aid the Kitchen Manager in maintaining security and safety in the kitchen
• Set up, maintain, and break down prep cook station
• Requisition items needed to produce menu items
• Maintain compliance with local health and safety regulations
• Keep logs required by the health department
• Cover, date, and store leftover products that are reusable
• Maintain the highest sanitary standards
• Exhibit regular and recurrent attendance records
• Perform other duties as requested by management

Requirements

• Ability to interpret/extract information and/or perform arithmetic functions
• Good communication skills

Qualifications

• TIPS Certification (completed upon hire)
