Banquet Bartender-Part-Time(Bettendorf)

About the role

The Banquet Bartender provides beverage service to guests during daytime hours, Monday through Friday, ensuring a quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders from guests and servers, prepare drinks correctly, and return orders in a timely manner.
• Sell cigarettes, various amenities, and food to guests.
• Actively observe guest alcohol consumption, identify signs of possible intoxication, and enforce company policy regarding limitations.
• Develop and maintain positive guest relations through helpful and interactive guest transactions.
• Stock bar items, fill ice bins, empty garbage, mop floors, and clean bar mats and coolers to maintain a clean and orderly bar.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior bartending experience preferred.
• Knowledge of bar equipment, alcohol laws, and regulations.
• Ability to maintain a calm and pleasant attitude in high-stress situations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid state gaming license.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, push, and twist intermittently.
