About the role

A Commercial Loan Specialist ensures the best possible experience throughout the life of the customer's loan. This role involves managing loan onboarding, system maintenance, payment processing, daily balancing, and compliance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding of new loans on the core system
• Performing system maintenance for changes that occur throughout the life of the loan
• Posting and correcting loan payments
• Daily balancing of loan-related accounts and general ledgers
• Tracking insurance and handling collateral releases

Position Levels

• Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist I – Complete daily tasks within the department's servicing standards.
• Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist II – Complete daily tasks and work with managers to meet prerequisites for advancement.

Professional Development

Takes advantage of training opportunities to advance knowledge of servicing regulations and process efficiency. Advancement includes demonstrating expertise in all aspects of loan servicing and may require some travel. Annual, job-specific training is assigned or available.
