Banking Job Training Program

About the role

Year Up United is a one-year or less, intensive job training program that provides young adults with in-classroom skill development, access to internships and job placement services, and personalized coaching and mentorship through four unique career pathways. Participants also receive an educational stipend. The Customer Experience pathway combines technical and professional training in Banking or Customer Success, with access to internships and job placement support through YUPRO Placement. Internships may be at JPMorganChase or Bank of America among other leading organizations in the Providence area.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED recipient
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
• Have not obtained a Bachelor’s degree

Schedule

Available Monday‑Friday throughout the duration of the program.

Skills

During the program you will gain product and service knowledge, a customer‑centric mindset, comprehensive finance training and development, plus professional business and communication skills, interviewing and networking skills, resume building, and ongoing support and guidance to help launch your career.

Pay

During the internship phase, Year Up United students earn an educational stipend of $525 per week.
