Banking & Financial Services (Regulatory & Compliance) Attorney - Any Office Location
About the role
Clark Hill PLC is seeking an attorney with 5-7 years of experience to join its Banking and Financial Services business unit, specifically in the firm’s financial regulatory and compliance practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist in federal and state regulatory investigations and supervisions
- Review policies and procedures, compliance management system infrastructure, and risk management systems
- Analyze various financial services statutes and regulations to support client regulatory expectations in areas such as payments, lending, debt collection, mortgage servicing for banks and non-banking institutions
- Provide regulatory due diligence for M&A financial services transactions
- Support business development initiatives, including client alerts, industry presentations, conference participation, and relationship-building within the financial services sector
Requirements
- Licensed in their home jurisdiction or eligible for admission
- Strong subject matter expertise in financial services regulation
- Extensive legal research skills
- Proficiency in work product, analytical, and critical thinking
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and possess a solid work ethic

Pay
The salary range at the time of posting is $200,000 - $220,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data.
