Residency Program Details

This role is hybrid, but you must sit for the Bar and plan to reside in the state where you are applying.

After sitting for the Bar exam, Residency participants will join MFL to receive training in substantive family law and courtroom advocacy. Residents will receive mentorship from the MFL Learning & Development department and legal teams, helping them successfully transition to an MFL Associate Attorney position upon passing the Bar.

Competitive salary starting at: $72,800 (Resident) or $117,000 (Associate Attorney).

Requirements

Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.

Register for the upcoming February or July Bar exam.

Attain a passing score on the MPRE before sitting for the Bar exam.

Timely submission and approval of Character & Fitness application by the State Bar.

Experience in Family Law Clinics is a plus.

Mock Trial experience is a plus.

Benefits

Salary Range $72,800-$117,000.

This range is a reasonably reliable estimate of the salary that this individual is expected to receive. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
