Residency Program Details
This role is hybrid, but you must sit for the Bar and plan to reside in the state where you are applying.
- After sitting for the Bar exam, Residency participants will join MFL to receive training in substantive family law and courtroom advocacy.
- Residents will receive mentorship from the MFL Learning & Development department and legal teams, helping them successfully transition to an MFL Associate Attorney position upon passing the Bar.

- Competitive salary starting at: $83,200 (Resident) or $153,700 (Associate Attorney).
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Register for the upcoming February or July Bar exam for Washington (no score transfers).
- Achieve a passing score on the MPRE before sitting for the Bar exam.
- Timely submission and approval of Character & Fitness application by the State Bar.
- Experience in Family Law Clinics is a plus.
- Mock Trial experience is a plus.
