Banking & Financial Services (Regulatory & Compliance) Attorney - Any Office Location

About the role

Clark Hill PLC is seeking an attorney with 5-7 years of experience to join its Banking and Financial Services business unit, specifically in the firm’s financial regulatory and compliance practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist in federal and state regulatory investigations and supervisions
• Review policies and procedures, compliance management system infrastructure, and risk management systems
• Analyze various financial services statutes and regulations to support client regulatory expectations in areas such as payments, lending, debt collection, mortgage servicing for banks and non-banking institutions
• Provide regulatory due diligence for M&A financial services transactions

Requirements

• Strong subject matter expertise in financial services regulation
• Extensive legal research skills
• Proficiency in work product, analytical, and critical thinking
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and excellent interpersonal skills
• Interest in supporting and contributing to business development initiatives

Qualifications

• Licensed in home jurisdiction or eligible for admission

Pay

The salary range at the time of posting is $200,000 - $220,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data.
