First Hawaiian Bank is seeking a Banking Consultant to join our team at the Waikiki Banking Center on Oahu, offering robust career growth and developmental opportunities.

Pay

$21.50 - $25.50/hr plus sales incentives.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM; Rotational Saturday 8:30AM - 1:30PM (hours may vary).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service as the face of First Hawaiian Bank in our branches.
• Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services.
• Serve a diverse group of customers, from individuals opening their first checking account to seasoned investors managing their wealth.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a business-related field, equivalent work experience; or High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years’ experience in a sales and service environment required.
• 2 years of experience in cash handling required.
• 2 years of experience in customer service, referrals, and sales required.
• Retail/branch banking experience in operations and sales or similar experience within the financial services industry preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of banking/financial products and services, and ability to comprehend and grasp finance and credit concepts preferred.
• Must project a welcoming presence when interacting with customers.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Digitally savvy, confident, and well-versed in the use of digital banking technology to fulfill routine day-to-day needs.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.
• Agile and resourceful in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Upbeat, positive, growth mindset, and quick learner.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
• Ability to handle confidential matters judiciously.
