About the role
The Relationship Banker II role provides services for Banking Center customers and assists the team in achieving sales, service, and operation goals based on strategic guidelines. This role processes all customer-related financial transactions in accordance with bank rules, regulations, and guidelines. It also uses excellent communication and active listening skills to understand customer financial needs, establish trust, optimize sales opportunities, generate leads, and provide quality customer service.
Responsibilities
- Responds to customers' needs in an accurate and timely manner, utilizing available resources and tools.
- Evaluates client needs and offers appropriate financial products and services through needs-based conversations to build and deepen relationships.
- Performs routine teller transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and other transactions as needed.
- Supports the segmentation strategy by implementing sales, retention, and other bank initiatives to achieve Banking Center's growth and profitability objectives.
- Achieve/Exceed individual and team goals in sales, service, and operations.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations as well as bank policies and procedures.
- Meet/exceed branch audits and operations evaluation requirements.
- Assist with supervision of banking center colleagues, offering coaching support to fellow bankers.
- Act as a role model and help onboard new bankers.
Requirements
This role requires a demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and motivating. A working knowledge of all products and services is essential, along with keeping current with all systems used for branch transaction processing. Strong customer service skills and the ability to support teamwork are also necessary. The role demands the ability to work a flexible and/or rotating schedule, including Saturdays, Sundays, and extended hours. Travel to alternate Banking Centers may be required.
Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent preferred.
- 3-4 years customer sales/service experience with 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
- Needs-based banking sales experience preferred.

Pay
The estimated salary range for this position is $21.50 to $26.00 USD hourly. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
Schedule
This position is eligible for incentive compensation.
