About Carver Federal Savings Bank

Founded in 1948 and headquartered in Harlem, Carver Federal Savings Bank is the nation's largest and oldest continually Black-operated bank, a U.S. Treasury certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and federally designated Minority Depository Institution (MDI). For over 75 years, Carver has served the communities of Harlem, Brooklyn, and Queens with the conviction that access to quality financial services and real economic opportunity should not be determined by neighborhood or circumstance. We reinvest more than 70 cents of every deposit dollar back into the communities we serve, 10 points above the CDFI standard. We hold an Outstanding rating on our Community Reinvestment Act examination. We are in a period of deliberate transformation, growing our institution, strengthening our team, and deepening our impact. Located in Brooklyn, the Banking Associate reports to the Branch Manager within the Consumer & Community Banking department.
