About the role

Thompson Coburn is seeking a Banking and Commercial Finance Associate with 4+ years of experience to join its New York office. This position will be primarily lender-focused, representing banks, funds, and other credit providers in a variety of financing transactions, including cash-flow and asset-based lending. The role involves managing complex transactions, resolving challenges, and providing tailored solutions to clients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent lenders in cash-flow and asset-based lending transactions
• Manage complex financing transactions from inception to closing
• Resolve legal and structural challenges in commercial finance deals
• Collaborate within a team to deliver client-focused solutions

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in banking and commercial finance
• Strong understanding of commercial finance structures and legal issues
• Currently licensed to practice law in New York
• Exceptional academic achievement

Pay

Salary range: $225,000–$300,000. Actual salary will vary based on relevant skills, training, and other job-related factors.
