Bank Teller - Brandywine, MD (BDW)

About the role

TEKsystems is hiring a Bank Teller for a Fortune 100 Financial Institution located in Brandywine, MD.

Responsibilities

• Provide members and prospective members with a full range of products and services including depository accounts, lending products, and credit/debit cards.
• Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
• Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans.
• Absorb and assist members with submitting various types of applications, including consumer/mortgage/equity loans, overdraft protection, and credit card applications.
• Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services.
• Ensure proper handling of cash and other negotiable instruments.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services to increase product penetration.
• Perform platform banking functions.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of banking experience, preferably in a retail setting.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Schedule

Full-time/40 hours per week. Must be available Monday-Friday: 8:00am-6:00pm, Saturday: 8:00am-1:30pm. May be expected to work 2-3 Saturdays a month depending on business needs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.28 - $23.28/hr.
