About the Role
As a Bank Manager at Landmark, you will lead a team that embodies our commitment to being champions and catalysts for our communities. You’ll foster relationships beyond transactions, drive business development, and ensure efficient, compliant, and profitable branch operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and management for a team that delivers exceptional customer service and demonstrates deep knowledge of all bank products and services.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers while representing a positive bank image through community engagement.
- Ensure efficient, compliant, and profitable branch operations, including leading business development efforts.
- Hold team members accountable for service and sales performance standards through supervision, training, coaching, and development.
- Collaborate with other bank divisions and leadership to develop, monitor, and achieve branch goals.
- Train, coach, and develop your team in assessing and addressing customer needs to advance customer and bank success.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development plan, including active outreach to current and prospective customers.
- Serve customers with consumer loan needs by accepting, inputting, closing, and approving consumer loan requests.
- Represent Landmark National Bank in the community to enhance the bank’s reputation both during and after business hours.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, including conducting regular audits.
- Supervise, train, coach, and develop your team using performance development processes such as the Quarterly Job Progress Plan.
- Manage your professional growth through the Quarterly Job Progress Plan and meet Minimum, Target, and Optimum performance levels.
- Handle performance counseling, including making and recommending disciplinary action decisions.
- Utilize the prescribed hiring process to select team members.
- Engage in and initiate Landmark National Bank culture initiatives, including Daily Huddles, Weekly Rally Meetings, and Celebration events.
- Exercise sound business judgment, including collecting and analyzing data to inform decisions.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned while adhering to bank policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to exercise sound business judgment.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Advanced communication and customer service skills, including experience with presentations.
- Supervisory and management experience (preferred).
- Consumer lending experience (preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in basic personal computer programs (Internet, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
