Job Summary
Certified Languages International (CLI) seeks telephonic interpreters who can work from home. This position involves providing interpreting services for a variety of industries including medical, insurance, financial, utility companies, customer service, and state courts. Positions are available 24/7 and interpreters can log on and off using an online portal or their landline telephone.
About the Role
Interpreting experience is preferred but not required. This is a freelance position where interpreters set their own schedules. CLI services all industries and has clients requiring interpreting service 24/7.
Responsibilities
- Provide interpreting services for various industries including medical, insurance, financial, utility companies, customer service, and state courts.
- Interpret using either an online portal or a landline telephone.
- Interpret 24/7 for CLI's diverse client base.
- Receive payment based on the number of minutes worked, with payments issued twice monthly via direct deposit.
Requirements
- Must be able to work in the United States legally (SSN or EIN and Photo ID required).
- Must reside in the United States.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be fluent in the languages needed for the interpreting positions.

Pay
Payment is based on the number of minutes worked, with interpreters paid for every minute spent on the phone interpreting. Payments are issued twice a month, on the 15th and last day of the month via direct deposit.
