Duties / Responsibilities
- Bander must be able to correctly place band boards and bands to ensure trusses are tightly banded.
- Safely operate bander machine.
- Cut band boards to size.
- Band trusses together in timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; or equivalent experience.
- Must be able to read a tape measurer.
- Must have a passion for quality and be naturally attentive to details.
- Must be reliable and able to work at an efficient pace.
- Demonstrates honesty and integrity.
- Has a strong work ethic.
- Displays a great attitude and models teamwork.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift and/or carry over 20 lbs.
- Must be able to effectively verbally communicate and exchange information with others.
- Work is primarily completed by standing or walking, and may require bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching in hot and cold conditions.
