Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure that any damaged, poor quality, or miss-sorted products are not packaged.
• Bump loads to square.
• Apply end seal—no over spray.
• Trim long ends with chain saw.
• Stereo unit tag to package, watch for accuracy.
• Paperwrap appropriate units for orders.
• Complete all paperwork for units taken from stock.
• Accurately and neatly stencil tags.
• Monitor supplies re-order in a timely manner so as not to run out.
• Back up in other departments as requested.
• Report any potential machinery defects immediately.
• Report any potential safety risks immediately.
• Keep area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of sawmill manufacturing processes.
• Communicate with co-workers and supervisor.
• Work with and promote a teamwork environment.
• Work with limited supervision.
• Promote and support a strong safety culture.
• Willing to fill in on off shift and overtime when required.
