About the role

MISTAFF is seeking a dedicated educator to fill a full-time position in a K-12 alternative certification program. This role will support aspiring educators in their journey towards becoming certified teachers.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and guidance to alternative certification candidates.
• Assist with the development and implementation of training programs.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations of candidate progress.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the success of the alternative certification program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Experience working with alternative certification programs or similar educational initiatives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check.
• Valid teaching license or ability to obtain one within a year.

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of state and federal education policies.
