Paul Effman Music is seeking talented, energetic Band/String teachers to join their staff. We provide instrumental music programs for private schools throughout the Bronx/Westchester area and currently have a part-time position available.
About the role
Our teachers give small group lessons as well as full ensemble rehearsals. They work in multiple schools each week; some programs are during the school day and some are after school.
Responsibilities
- Teach small-group instrumental lessons
- Lead full ensemble rehearsals
- Travel to multiple school sites each week
Requirements
- Bachelor of Music in Music Education
- Proficiency on traditional band instruments and violin
- Reliable car for travel between schools
Hourly pay.
