Primary Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative activities on shut down weekends to keep tools mechanically in good working order ready to produce.
- Clean tool, remove dirty grease, apply rust protection spray, and apply new grease to guide pins and tools slides.
- Keep assigned area in good shape and organized.
- Complete all preventive daily checks such as nozzle leaks, oil leaks, and water leaks.
- Record all quality paperwork in accordance with established standards or as outlined by the injection molding and quality supervisor.
- Set up and change injection tooling.
- Adjust process to conform to quality and production standards.
- Set up of assembly stations to produce product.
- Ensure that product conforms to bill of materials.
- Verify machines are running in a safe manner with obvious machine issues.
Safety
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the facility through good housekeeping practices.
- Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines.
Knowledge And Skill Requirements
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
- Two to five years of experience in injection molding environment.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Self-motivation.
Physical Demands
- Lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds and push or pull up to 150 pounds.
- Complete repetitive tasks such as visual inspection of machinery and product, color vision, balance, external cold, external heat, noise, wet conditions, working without assistance, fine hand manipulations, pinching fingers movements, seated work, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching above head, prolonged standing/walking, twisting, and reaching above head.

Shifts
- Day shift M-F 6:00am-6:00pm
- Night shift Su-Th 6:00pm-6:00am with 15% shift premium
