Responsibilities

  • Support the management team
  • Be a resource for all departments

  • Coach and model exceptional customer service on the sales floor
  • Train and oversee team members in one or more departments
  • Help resolve customer issues and complaints
  • Escalate problems to the management team when necessary
  • Assist in the daily operation of the store
  • Act as the Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the manager or at satellite locations
  • Assign work and provide focused direction to team members
  • Process sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments
  • Perform routine housekeeping tasks

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience in a retail setting preferred
  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Basic reading, writing, and accounting skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
