About the Role
As our Executive Chef, you’ll be the creative mastermind behind every flavorful experience, leading a talented culinary crew across the Café, Room Service, Banquets, and more. You’ll roll up your sleeves to craft unforgettable moments, from plating show-stopping dishes to maintaining sparkling kitchens.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and assist in food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality, taste, and presentation across all outlets while maintaining safety expectations.
- Lead, motivate, coach, and discipline kitchen personnel to ensure efficient and high-quality food preparation and service.
- Manage food costs, budgets, and maximize cost/production ratios to optimize financial performance.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen, work, and storage areas, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Anticipate and address issues proactively to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Clearly convey information and resolve concerns from co-workers and guests effectively.
Requirements
- A two-year college degree with at least three years of related experience, or a four-year college degree with a minimum of one year of related experience is preferred.
- Five years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, including required supervisory experience.
- Ability to handle stressful, high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and objectivity.
- Must meet certification requirements, which may include Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.
