Baler Operator 2nd Shift

About the role

Position Title: Baler Operator
Starting Pay: $18.50/hour. Eligible for pay increases after 90 days and 6 months based on performance and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all activities associated with safely running the baler including operation, cleanup and recommending improvements to operations;
• Safely operating a forklift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior manufacturing environment and forklift operator experience preferred
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to read and follow instructions

Skills

• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with the assistance of another worker
• Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Apply concepts of high school math
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form
