Entry level position starting at $19.50 per hour plus shift differential. Full-time, 2nd shift (2pm-10pm).
Pay
Starting at $19.50 per hour plus shift differential. Competitive salary with pay increases based on skills learned.

Responsibilities
- Operate Hogger, Baler, and Slitter machines safely and efficiently.
- Produce neat, well-formed bales.
- Hog up all unusable paper and corrugated scrap.
- Maintain accurate bale reports and waste data; complete daily waste documents.
- Manage inventories of bale wire, dunnage, and scrap bales.
- Operate a forklift safely; load trailers and complete Straight Bill of Ladings.
- Submit maintenance work orders for needed repairs and proactively maintain equipment.
- Assist with Sustainability Initiatives.
- Operate Slitter to cut waste sheets to usable sizes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Ability to read a tape measure quickly and accurately.
- Proficiency in calculating percentages, measurements, volume, and rates using high school-level math.
- Ability to follow written, oral, or graphic instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables.
- Working knowledge of equipment design, production specifications, and quality standards.
- May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License.
- Ability to read and follow factory instructions.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.
- Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally required to sit.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
- Requires close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
- Occasionally exposed to high places, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
