About the role

The Bakery Manager will conduct the proper operation of the Bakery Department. This person coordinates the work of the employees to achieve satisfactory operating results which comply with company procedures, policies and execute company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the work of employees to achieve satisfactory operating results which comply with company procedures, policies and execute company goals.
  • Act as a role model of professionalism, ethical behavior, and effective decision making at all times.
  • Ensure the bakery department operates efficiently and effectively, adhering to company standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • CPFM – Certified Food Protection Manager or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership and management experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in managing a bakery department, including staff supervision and operational oversight.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality assurance practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees and customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
