Bakery Clerk - Lowell

About the role

Position is responsible for providing customers with outstanding customer service, assisting other staff, cleaning and sanitizing the department, operating the bakery scale and industrial mixer, and properly filling and rotating product.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers
• Stocks and rotates product
• Inspects bakery products for freshness
• Faces merchandise in the department
• Cuts open boxes with a box cutter
• Takes orders
• Builds displays
• Cleans and sanitizes department, back room and cooler/freezer
• Receives delivers and arranges stock in cooler/freezer
• Prepares and packages product

Work environment

Normal exposure to weather and temperature extremes. Exposure to cooler and freezer do not exceed 1 hour at a time.
