About the role
The Bakery Clerk position at Fiesta Mart Store 043 Houston Braeswood is open to candidates aged 16-17. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a love for the community, and a passion for food.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers in the bakery department.
- Aid customers with bakery purchases and clean shelving and display cases.
- Clean, fill, and rotate self-service displays both inside and outside the store.
- Work with customers to place special orders and assist bakers in determining baking or decorating needs.
- Contribute to department cleaning by hosing down floors with soap and water.
Requirements
- Ability to read and write in Spanish and English.
- Interact effectively with the general public and co-workers.
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Lift and move up to 60 pounds occasionally.
