About the role

The Bakery Clerk position at Fiesta Mart Store 008 Houston-Wirt Rd is open to candidates aged 16-17. This role requires the ability to read and write Spanish/English, interact with the public and co-workers, and perform basic clerical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers in the bakery department.
• Aid customers with bakery purchases and maintain display cases and shelves.
• Clean and rotate self-service displays both inside and outside the store.
• Assist with taking special orders and coordinating with the baker for baking or decorating needs.
• Contribute to departmental cleaning by hosing down floors with soap and water.

Requirements

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate (preferred).

Qualifications

Must have a valid Food Handler Card or equivalent certification due to the nature of the work environment.

Skills

• Spanish/English reading and writing skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds.
