Bakers Helper

About the role

The Baker’s Helper plays a key role in day-to-day bakery operations, working alongside the Bakery Sales Manager to support production and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Preparing dough
• Glazing pastries
• Assisting with baking tasks from start to finish
• Helping plan the day’s production
• Gathering ingredients
• Following recipes with accuracy and attention to detail
• Applying icing to baked goods
• Monitoring oven temperatures
• Ensuring products meet quality standards
• Providing courteous, helpful service to customers
• Offering product information
• Answering questions
• Maintaining a clean, organized workspace

Requirements

• A balanced appreciation for both the creative and technical sides of baking
• A team-oriented approach and the ability to contribute effectively
