Bakers Helper

About the role

The Baker’s Helper plays a key role in day‑to‑day bakery operations. Working alongside the Bakery Sales Manager, the helper helps plan the day’s production, gathers ingredients, and follows recipes with accuracy and attention to detail. The position involves preparing dough, glazing pastries, and assisting with baking tasks from start to finish while providing courteous, helpful service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dough and glaze pastries.
• Assist with baking tasks from start to finish.
• Apply icing to baked goods.
• Monitor oven temperatures.
• Ensure products meet quality standards.
• Provide courteous service to customers, offering product information and answering questions.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
