About the role

At Einstein Bros. Bagels, our Bakers are the heart of our bakery, arriving early to bake fresh bagels daily. You’ll ensure quality products are available each shift by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case, assist with guest service, and maintain a clean, safe environment. Schedule

Stores close at 2 PM, and shifts end by 3 PM—no evenings or nights. Early morning hours (as early as 3 AM) and weekend availability required, with varied days based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Bake fresh bagels daily to ensure quality product availability.
• Stock the bagel wall and pastry case each shift.
• Assist with order taking, sandwich making, and other guest service tasks.
• Maintain food and beverage quality standards.
• Keep the store environment clean and safe.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to work varied hours/days, including early mornings (as early as 3 AM) and weekends.
• Must pass a background check as required by local, state, and federal law.
• Possession of a current, valid, state-issued driver’s license (required at specific locations).
• Physical demands include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours (reasonable accommodations available).
