BAKER (FULL TIME)

About the Role

We are hiring immediately for a full-time BAKER position at EMD Serono in Billerica, MA. This role involves preparing baked goods according to recipes and production specifications, ensuring proper food preparation, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets.
• Assist in production planning to meet daily requirements.
• Ensure proper food preparation using approved recipes and equipment.
• Complete production records, including waste tracking and supply shortages.
• Maintain proper presentation, food quality, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Keep equipment, supplies, and workstations clean and sanitized.
• Handle food items safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Interact with customers, resolve complaints, and relay concerns to supervisors.
• Follow sanitation and safety principles, including OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday - Friday, with varying hours. More details provided during the interview.

Pay

Fixed pay rate: $28.00 per hour.
