BAKER (FULL TIME)

Requirements

• Prior baking experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries according to provided production and catering sheets; assist in production planning to meet daily requirements.
• Ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes, following prescribed production standards, and using proper equipment.
• Assist with completion of production records, including waste tracking, used/unused portions, and product shortages; inform supervisor when supplies are low.
• Ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils within the work area.
• Handle food items safely and in compliance with all safety regulations during preparation and service.
• Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner; relay relevant concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain calm, accurate, and efficient performance during peak production and service.
• Ensure all food is presented, served, and displayed according to standards.
• Follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment, ensuring corporate and OSHA standards are met.
• Complete shift work as assigned, in a timely and thorough manner according to department standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay

Pay range: $16.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour.
