About the role

The Nothing Bundt Cakes Assistant Baker partners with the Baker to ensure that cakes of the highest quality are consistently created for guests and contributes to superior service by meeting production demands. Following strict proprietary recipes, production methods, and food‑safety standards, the Assistant Baker helps the Baker perform the repeated baking process for a variety of flavors and sizes. The role embodies NbC core values and demonstrates a strong commitment to excellence and efficiency in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Follow NbC proprietary recipes and cake production methods with precision while achieving productivity goals.
• Utilize measuring instruments, commercial‑grade mixers, ovens, and other tools to bake cakes.
• Assist the baker in accurately preparing raw ingredients and equipment, place cake pans into a hot oven, and monitor the baking process.
• Support daily baking and production flow and processes.
• Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of baked cakes, maintain product rotation standards, and keep baking and refrigeration logs.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock the workstation; ensure all baking supplies are prepared for the next shift.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines, NbC policies, dress code, and personal hygiene requirements.
• Maintain a consistent attendance and punctuality record.
