Bag Machine Operator

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Bag Machine Operator/Packer to inspect, align, pack, and document production from the bag-making line. This full-time position is located in Albuquerque, NM and requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Stand at the delivery end of the bag-making machine
• Inspect bags as they are stacked
• Adjust the machine to ensure bags are properly aligned
• Pack stacked bags into boxes and seal completed boxes
• Load new rolls of plastic film and zipper-profile spools onto the machine
• Record production through the computer terminal
• Complete production documents accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to measure accurately with a ruler
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality

Pay

First Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. – $16.00 per hour. Second Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. – $17.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, with two shift options: 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. (First Shift) or 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. (Second Shift).
