Bag Fryer Worker- Plant 2 (Nights)

Pay

Pay Rate: $20.75 per hour. Additional pay rates apply for hours worked outside standard shifts.

Work Schedule

Workers rotate through 2 key areas and a third area for light duty work. The line operates with a total of 8 workers, with 4 working each side.

Responsibilities

• Place specific types of giblets (heart, liver, neck or gizzard) into the cavity of the bird as it passes on the hanging conveyor.
• Remove each unit from the line and place it into a bag with an absorbing pad under it.
• Seal the bag with a staple machine and transfer to the out-feed conveyor.
• Rotate throughout the day, performing tasks such as stuffing giblets and bagging fryers.
• Perform a downward push force of 62.3 pounds to break the legs of whole chicken fryers, ensuring proper fitting into the bag.
• Adjust table height to 40 inches above the floor with adjustable steps that can be raised up to 12 inches.
• Operate with a hand position that is pronated with bilateral palmer force against the bird.
