Backup Shipping Coordinator
About the role
The Backup Shipping Coordinator is responsible for performing assigned production functions in a safe manner to consistently meet production standards and quality requirements. They will also back up the Shipping department by organizing finished product, loading trucks, and transferring material.
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned production functions in a safe manner to meet production standards and quality requirements.
- Back up the Shipping department by organizing finished product, loading trucks, and transferring material.
- Moderate computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
- Maintains quality standards by monitoring product and rejecting non-compliant items.
- Keeps the work area neat and orderly in compliance with 5S standards.
- Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes production reports and other documentation.
- Promote teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
- Assist in other work areas when workload permits or requires.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- At least 3 years of related warehouse and inventory experience.
- At least 6 months of forklift experience; ability to pass OSHA required practical and written exams.
- At least 6 months of production, assembly, or related work experience preferred.
Qualifications
The starting hourly rate is $18.49 to $27.74, depending on experience, with the possibility of up to a $1 pay increase after 90 days.

5:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Monday - Thursday) + 6:00 AM - 10:00AM (Friday, as needed)
No Weekends
Pay
The starting hourly rate is $18.49 to $27.74, depending on experience, with the possibility of up to a $1 pay increase after 90 days.
