Key Responsibilities
- Print Bills of Lading and labels.
- Rout orders and assign pro numbers to bills and labels.
- Separate and date Bills of Lading for drivers.
- Maintain shipping department copies of Bills of Lading for shipped orders.
- Complete Commercial Invoices for export shipments.
- Process PCMiler load sheets for flatbed loads.
- Audit loadouts as required.
- Call carriers to arrange pickups.
Order Processing & Inventory
- Receive P.O.s and process them in the system.
- Complete the invoice process.
- Run “Available to Ship” reports throughout the day to identify completed orders.
- Pick completed orders and provide them to loaders.
Support, Coordination & Administration
- Assist shipping department employees with locating hardware boxes.
- Assist shipping department employees with order-related questions.
- Assist Customer Service with order status inquiries.
- File documents and complete monthly reports for the Plant Manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
Minimum of 3–6 months of shipping, inventory, or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or verbal instructions.
Physical Demands
Ability to apply common sense understanding when carrying out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage situations involving multiple variables in various contexts.
Ability to read and interpret documents accurately.
Required to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) such as:
- Eye protection
- Hearing protection
- Closed-toed shoes
PPE must be worn at all times in designated manufacturing areas.
