About the Role
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a field typically inaccessible to most—ideal for those interested in law enforcement, private investigation, or community safety. You’ll directly contribute to client trust and community safety while working in a culture of empowerment with minimal micromanagement.
Responsibilities
- Process comprehensive tenant and applicant background checks, including criminal, credit, evictions, and more.
- Review results for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Communicate results professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies or complex cases.
- Identify opportunities to improve screening processes, workflows, and turnaround times.
- Support nights and weekend coverage as required by business needs.
Requirements
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent phone and people skills.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Must be located or willing to travel daily to 1821 Como Park Blvd, Lancaster, NY 14086 (onsite position).
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; H1-B visa sponsorship is not available.
Pay
$19.00 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
