Standout interns who display strong algorithmic thinking, API security discipline, and clean code principles will be fast-tracked for full-time Backend Engineer roles. Upon completing Stage 1, top-performing interns who exhibit technical mastery, discipline, and strong output are evaluated for full-time employment offers at UR Technology.
Evaluation Criteria: Overall performance, technical/professional skills, attendance, learning ability, discipline, project contribution, and business requirements. Such employment, if offered, will be subject to a separate employment/offer letter containing the applicable position, salary, benefits, terms and conditions. Completion of the internship does not guarantee permanent employment.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain server-side application logic using Node.js and Express
- Design database tables, indexes, and queries in PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Build RESTful API endpoints and implement token-based (JWT) authentication
- Optimize server response times, caching (Redis), and handle server errors gracefully
- Write unit tests for critical API routes and database transactions
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical disciplines
- Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and HTTP protocols
- Solid foundation in SQL databases and relational data modeling
- Familiarity with Postman, Git, and basic Linux commands
