In the absence of the Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for all cash and funds control pursuant to Sprouts policies and procedures. You will also conduct in-store accounting procedures to meet the company’s financial reporting requirements and verify the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings related to business transactions recorded by other workers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-store accounting procedures to meet financial reporting requirements.
• Manage all cash and funds control in accordance with Sprouts policies and procedures during the absence of the Administrative Coordinator.
• Check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers.
• Prepare all daily and weekly sales and cash reports correctly.
• Maintain cash handling and security in the office area.
• Ensure standards of customer service are met and all store functions are completed correctly and on time.
• Maintain current knowledge of office procedures and policies relating to cash reports, register checkups, deposits, and checks.
• Cover Administrative Coordinator absences, including weekends.
• Execute other duties as needed.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma at a minimum; associate degree in business or accounting preferred.
• Dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes with business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Detail-oriented to avoid making errors and to recognize errors made by others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong aptitude for numbers and proficiency in operating calculators, computers, and general office equipment.
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word; knowledge of specialized bookkeeping or accounting software is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and perform multiple tasks efficiently.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality, especially with frequent contact with confidential material.
• Discreet and trustworthy.
