The Back-up Administrative Coordinator role will conduct in-store accounting procedures necessary to meet the company’s financial reporting requirements. In the absence of the Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for all cash and funds control pursuant to Sprouts policies and procedures. You will also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-store accounting procedures to meet financial reporting requirements.
• Handle all cash and funds control in accordance with Sprouts policies and procedures in the absence of the Administrative Coordinator.
• Verify the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings related to business transactions recorded by other workers.
• Prepare all daily and weekly sales and cash reports correctly.
• Maintain cash handling and security in the office area.
• Ensure standards of customer service are met and all store functions are completed correctly and on time.
• Maintain current knowledge of office procedures and policies relating to cash reports, register checkups, deposits, and checks.
• Cover Administrative Coordinator absences, including working weekends.
• Execute other duties as needed.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma at a minimum; associate degree in business or accounting preferred.
• Dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes with business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Detail-oriented to avoid making errors and to recognize errors made by others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong aptitude for numbers and proficiency in operating calculators, computers, and general office equipment.
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word; knowledge of specialized bookkeeping or accounting software.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and perform several tasks efficiently.
• Discreet and trustworthy due to frequent contact with confidential material.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $16.95 - $22.90 per hour. Sprouts Farmers Market determines pay based on applicable experience and qualifications of the applicant.
