Hiring and Training Direct Reports
- Hire the right people and train them properly
- Coach them to strive for humble accountability
Delegation and Performance Management
- Well-thought-out delegation to direct reports to help them grow
- Ensure high-performance operations that attract repeat customers
- Delegate tasks to direct reports to achieve results without micromanaging
Inventory and Scheduling
- Manage inventory and order non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages
- Maintain cost of goods targets
- Properly schedule shifts to align with labor budgets
Food Safety and Facility Maintenance
- Ensure compliance with food safety requirements
- Inspire direct reports to oversee facility and equipment maintenance
Supporting the General Manager
- Support the General Manager to ensure operations are efficient
- Support the General Manager to ensure facility and equipment maintenance is performed as needed
Standardization and Consistency
- Ensure standardization and consistency in food preparation and presentation
Skills and Qualifications
- Up-to-date ServSafe certification
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Strong culinary knowledge
- Leadership skills and conflict resolution skills
- Physically able to work a full shift on feet and lift up to 50 lbs
- Working knowledge of scheduling systems, POS systems, and inventory ordering systems
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (a huge plus)
- Able to work days, nights, and weekends
