What’s the role?
As a Back End Engineer at Bilt, you will join a renowned team transforming the rental industry. Your responsibilities include designing, implementing, and documenting back-end services for the Bilt mobile app and website. You will coach and mentor junior resources, collaborate with other team members and stakeholders, and drive best practices in infrastructure as code, CI/CD, monitoring, and alerting. You will also contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, write well-designed, testable, and efficient code, and become a foundational member of the team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Proven hands-on experience in Java development
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS or Azure
- Great interpersonal skills and a team player
- A burning desire to win and meet company goals
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in traditional processes
